Mowers not honest with his financial disclosure.

Debate Shocker: Mowers Flat Out Lies about Financial Disclosure

I am absolutely appalled. My opponent had the opportunity to admit he made a mistake in filing his financial disclosure or tell the people of New Hampshire that he had filed an amended disclosure, instead he chose to lie to the people of this great state.” – Matt Mayberry

(Dover, NH) – Tonight, WMUR aired the debate between Republican hopefuls Matt Mayberry and Matt Mowers, both of whom are seeking the nomination in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District. In a heated back and forth over Mowers’ failure to disclose his $810,000 condominium in DC or disclose the amount of money his wife makes working for CNN in their DC bureau – disclosures required by law – Mowers refused to take responsibility or admit any wrongdoing whatsoever. In response, Matt Mayberry issued the following statement:

“I am absolutely appalled. My opponent had the opportunity to admit he made a mistake in filing his financial disclosure or tell the people of New Hampshire that he had filed an amended disclosure, instead he chose to lie to the people of this great state.

“This kind of politics may fly in New Jersey or DC, but it will not fly here in New Hampshire. The voters demand and deserve better than this.”
