Matt Mayberry Challenges His Primary Opponent to Debate

“The voters of New Hampshire deserve to hear from the candidates who seek to represent them in Congress. I am challenging my primary opponent to debate me in each one of the seven counties in the First district.” – Matt Mayberry

(Dover, NH) – Today, Republican Congressional candidate Matt Mayberry (NH-1) formally challenged his primary opponent – Matt Mowers – to debate him.

“The voters of New Hampshire deserve to hear from the candidates who seek to represent them in Congress,” said Mayberry. “I am challenging my primary opponent to debate me in each one of the seven counties in the First district.”

“This election will be decided by the voters of New Hampshire’s First Congressional district – not by Washington DC insiders and special interest money, which is why it is absolutely critical that these debates take place,” continued Mayberry.

Mayberry made it clear that debates between him and his primary opponent should be in person. “If it is safe enough for a cashier at Walmart to go to work, then it is safe enough for Mr. Mowers to join me on stage,” said Mayberry.
